One of the biggest socio-economic problems of the Republic is the situation with the remote mountainous villages. The Government of the Republic is working out special programs for revival and development of those regions.
Villages Sinagur and Tedelet were visited by a working group of the Government of RSO leaded by the Deputy Prime-Minister, Boris Chochiev, as well as the Minister of Health, Jemal Jikaev, Minister of Education, Alla Jioeva and others.
At the meeting with the authorities the resident of the villages expressed their dissatisfaction with the work of the local administration, lack of roads, school inventory, medicines etc. Mr. Boris Chochiev shared with the residents the Government’s plan for the region. The residents were also given humanitarian assistance.
