At the international press-center for journalists was hold a press-conference of the Central Election Committee Chairwoman Bella Plieva during which were announced preliminary results of the Referendum and Presidential elections.
According to Bella Plieva at the electorals appeared 95,2 % of the voters. 99 % of the voters answered positively on the question of the referendum “Would you like Republic of South Ossetia to keep its current status of an independent state and was recognized by the international community?”.
96 % of the voters gave their votes to the acting President Eduard Kokoity. The final results of the elections and referendum will be known during five days.
