At night on January, 28th the diversive group of special forces of one of the power structures of Georgia, having penetrated on the territory of South Ossetia Republic from the village Nikozi of the Gorijskiy area of Georgia, has made an armed attack on the post of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia Republic ,located on the border with the territory of Georgia. Simultaneously were fired the apartment houses on the southern outskirts of Tskhinval.
The attack has been beaten off by the reciprocal fire, and the attacked have disappeared on the territory of Georgia. As a result of the fighting conflict the three employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia Republic Boris Kaziev, Alexander Pliev and Roland Gabaraev have received wounds. The condition of the two wounded men is estimated as very heavy.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Republic with a deep regret ascertains, that the happened is an obvious demonstration of unwillingness of the Georgian management to normalize the situation of both in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict, and in the georgian-ossetian relations as a whole.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Republic regards the continuation of the policy of armed provocations on the part of Georgia as a clear enough answer of the management of this state to the last peace initiatives of the President of South Ossetia Republic.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia Republic again addresses the parties-participants of the negotiating process, the international organizations, interested in the peace settlement of the georgian-ossetian conflict, and calls them to give an adequate estimation of the refusal of the Georgian management of the continuation of the peace negotiating process and of the events of the last time, having occured in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict.
