The attempt of organization of a terrorist act concerning the top management of RSO is revealed and suppressed as a result of the held operatively-search actions by the State Security Committee (KGB) of the Republic of South Ossetia. The department on public relations of KGB of RSO informs about it.
On August, 1st, 2007 the employees of the agencies of state security have withdrawn two powerful explosives from a hiding-place, that is in the town boundaries of Tskhinval, and have taken them out to a safe place and destroyed.
A criminal action is brought on the fact of a prepared terrorist act on the attributes of corpus delicti, provided by the items 30 and 277 «A preparation for encroachment on a life of a state or public figure» and the item 222 «An illegal purchase, transfer, sale, storage of weapon, ammunition and explosives» of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation. Prime investigatory actions are being carried out.
