«The legislation of my country, of Russia, does not allow me as the head of one of its subjects to be engaged in international activity, therefore I shall express my opinion as the citizen of Russia, as an ossetian», the Head of North Ossetia Taimuraz Mamsurov has declared to InterFax on Tuesday, making comments on the request of the agency the official statement of the embassy of the USA in Georgia, in which they suggest to enter an international monitoring on the Rokskij tunnel at the Georgian-Russian border.
«Suggesting the entry of an international monitoring of the Rokskij tunnel, the Embassy of the USA in Georgia shows its absolute diminished responsibility, having forgotten, that this delirium actually already touches the territory of North Ossetia, that is the South of Russia», Taimuraz Mamsurov has noted.
«We, the inhabitants of North Ossetia, attentively scrutinize everyone who appears on our territory. The appearance here, in the area of the Rokskij tunnel, of any false «controllers» will be regarded by us as an ordinary hooliganism, therefore they will be met accordingly», the Head of North Ossetia considers.
