On September, 4th the secretary of state, the deputy Minister of foreign affairs of the Russian Federation G.B.Karasin has met the president of South Ossetia E.D.Kokojty.
During the conversation took place a detailed exchange of opinions on the state of affairs in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict, the reasons of sharp aggravation of the situation, the measures on counteraction to aggravation of intensity.
A developed characteristic has been given to the circumstances of provocation with the air-incident on August, 6th of this year in the zone of the georgian-ossetian conflict, to the arrest and imprisonment of the two ossetian peacemakers, being the citizens of Russia. Mutual concern is expressed in connection with the so-called planned "march" to Tskhinvali.
The aspiration to return the situation into a constructive course of a three-staged program of settlement has been underlined, in this context is noted the importance of a prompt carrying out of the next meeting of the Joint Control Commission with the participation of all the parties, involved in the process of settlement.
