South Ossetian Delegation Participates in Conflict Management Trainings

South Ossetian delegation is participating in trainings on management of inter-ethnic conflict. The discussions are taking place in Chisinau, Tiraspol and Odessa from 19 to 27 September. It is planned that the first 5 days of the training will be held in Odessa, two days in Chisinau and Tiraspol, reports the representative of the South Ossetian delegation Maria Kotaeva.

According to her, “young conflict management experts from the Black Sea Region are participating in the dialogues. While discussing problems related to inter-ethnic conflicts, the program participants have the opportunity to share their experience. The young people discuss problems in informal atmosphere sitting around a table”.
During their trip, the delegation members will meet representatives of different ministries, think-tanks and journalists. The trainings are focusing on analysis and elaboration of conflict settlement models. The event was organized by the International Peace Institute PATRIR and Berghof Center for Conflict Studies (Berlin).
