On 30 March 2010, an opening ceremony of South Ossetian Media-Center “Ir” will be held in Tskhinval. A round-table “Role of the media in strengthening of Russian-South Ossetian cooperation” will take place within the frames of the first day’s events.
Representatives of South Ossetian and Russian media will participate in the discussion. South Ossetian President Eduard Kokoity, Prime-Minister Vadim Brovtsev, Head of President’s Administration Arsen Gagloev and member of the Russian State Duma, representative of the Committee for Informational Policy, Informational Technologies and communication Stanislav Govorukhin are invited to the round-table.
The round-table participants will focus on issues related to fostering of a positive image to the Russian-South Ossetian inter-governmental cooperation among public, they will assess the process of rehabilitation and perspectives for economic development. The Round-table discussion will conclude with adoption of an appeal to media community.
