Whereas, the Georgian side has doubts in the fact of detention the Georgian citizens on March 8 at the territory of RSO exactly, it has been offered to run "checking for terrain". As the Deputy Representative of the President of South Ossetia for after conflict regulation Merab Chigoev has informed IA «RES», the relevant suggestion was made at the meeting within the framework of Mechanism of prevention and reaction on incidents (MPRI) in March 11.
"If we have the consent of Russian frontier guards and corresponding structures of South Ossetia, the representatives of EU will be able to conduct the checking for terrain. To make sure that the citizens of Georgia have really broken the regime of crossing the state border. The suggestion for the consideration of MPRI was made by the russian side", - has reported Chigoev.
We shall remind, that on March, 8 the Russian frontier guards detained nine citizens of Georgia for illegal crossing of the state border of South Ossetia, who, according to their words, had been moving on funerals to the settlement Ahmadzhi (Leningorskiy region, RSO- com. ed.)
According to the information of the press-service, on the same day the eight of the nine violators have been sent to the representatives of the border service of the State Committee for Safety of the Republic.
"The ninth violator was delivered to Leningorskiy district hospital because of aggravation of diabetes, where he was rendered the first medical help", - have been emphasized there.
The Investigation measures have been carrying out on the fact of breaking the state border.
