The detained citizens of Georgia will be expelled from South Ossetia

Four citizens of Georgia detained on 18 May in South Ossetia for violating the boundary, will be expelled to the Georgian territory in the nearest future. It has been reported by the Deputy Head of the Border service of KGB in the RSO Robert Gazzaev. He has reported that the investigating measures were undertaken towards the detainees.

"It has been made a decision, in accordance with the law, to expel them to the territory of Georgia that will be made within the nearest hours. The transference will take place in the Georgian frontier village Dvani, where the meeting within the framework of the mechanisms on prevention the incidents is conducted", - has noted Gazzaev. "In the morning of the 18 of May four citizens of Georgia have been detained near the village Lopan of Znaurskiy region of South Ossetia while they were picking up the wild plants. When the border guards were convoying the detainees they underwent the armed attack. Presumably, the frontier-guards have undergone the fire from smooth-bore hunting guns. The border guards have returned the fire and took measures on detaining the shooting ones, however they managed to escape in Georgia ", - has told the representative of the Border service.
