The Central Election Committee of South Ossetia has refused registration to the initiative groups, nominating Vasily Bestaev (a member of the Advocatory chamber of the RSO-Alania) and Lev Gagiev (a surgeon of the Republican somatic hospital) for presidential election. As the Central Election Committee of the RSOhas informed IA RES,the mentioned initiative groups were refused registration because of discrepancy to item 27,28 of the Constitutional law of the RSO « About the presidential elections in the RSO».They have noted that the subscription lists were submittedto the Central Election Committee by the initiative groupof Sergey Bitiev (the chief bailiff of the Ministry of Justice of the RSO). It should be reminded, that for today the Central Election Committee has registered three candidates for presidents. They are: Vladimir Kelekhsaev (the deputy of the RSO Parliament of two previous convocations), Alan Kochiev- a trainer of the weightlifting juvenile sports school and Vadim Tskhovrebov- director of the plant of bakery products, the deputy of the RSO Parliament ("Unity").
