Meeting of the action group, nominating a Chairman of the Afghan Veterans Union Murat Guchmazov for president of South Ossetia has been held in Tskhinval. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Central Election Committee. The participants of the meeting unanimously voted for nomination of Guchmazov for presidential elections on March, 25.
As reported to IA "Res" by Guchmazov, within the few days the action group is planning to submit the necessary documents to the CEC for registration It should be reminded, that CEC has earlier registered the action groups nominating Deputy Defense Minister Igor Alborov, former Chairman of the State Committee of Information, Communication and Mass Media of South Ossetia Georgy Kabisov, Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of South Ossetia Yuri Dzitstsoity, a Chairman of the RSO Chamber of Commerce Roin Kozaev, ex-Chairman of the Committee of Transportation Maurice Sanakoev, consultant of the RSO presidential envoy administration on post-conflict settlement Leonid Tibilov, RSO parliamentary deputy of the IVth convocation Sergei Zasseev and ex-presidential candidate, RSO parliamentary deputy of the IId and IVth convocations Vladimir Kelekhsaev for presidential elections.
