Last night at 3:40 am in the village of Karzman in Dzausky district of South Ossetia with small arms and grenade launchers was fired the Border Patrol post of KGB of South Ossetia.

As IA "Res" has been informed by the KGB of South Ossetia, the South Ossetian border guards did not respond to the provocation, but after the cease-fire they carried out searching activities,
as a result of which in the territory of the Republic of South Ossetia, near the state border, was arrested the Georgian Interior Ministry official Tomiashvili Mogul, a resident of the Georgian village of Ksuis.
According to the KGB of South Ossetia, Tomiashvili was confiscated the army M4 carbine and a NATO-standard grenade launcher. Currently, on this fact are being carried out the investigative activities.
"At 7:50 am on September 29 via a rapid response to incidents through the office of the RSO KGB border official the Georgian law enforcement bodies were notified of the incident and the detention of the armed Georgian policeman in the territory of South Ossetia ", - has been underlined at the KGB.
They stressed that the incident was a direct result of the policy of provocations of the official Tbilisi, which over the past two months had been purposefully accumulating the police and military presence at the border of the Republic.
