Georgian authorities are more and better understanding the futility of their unsubstantiated claim to the territory of South Ossetia, painfully reacting to any action undertaken by the authorities of South Ossetia, both in domestic and foreign policy, stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia, because of the frequent statements of the Georgian leaders , in which they once again are "deeply concerned " about the resumption of engineering construction on the state border of South Ossetia.
The Foreign Ministry has noted that using wide diplomatic field the Georgian government continues to bring the convenient information to the international community, hurting accusations against South Ossetia.
"Such speculations of the Georgian leaders representing Georgia as a victim have become traditional and expected. Claim of the Georgian authorities on the territory of South Ossetia and Abkhazia is the only legacy they want to inherit from the Soviet past. The Georgian leadership, cursing the Soviet period in the history of their country, cannot understand that public denunciation of all state acts adopted since 1921, the Supreme Council of Georgia in 1990 completely destroyed the state-legal base of location of the South Ossetian Autonomous Oblast within the Georgian SSR," - emphasized the RSO Foreign Ministry statement.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia has stated that the works to construct barrage structures are conducted on the sovereign territory of South Ossetia by the relevant border services of the independent and recognized Republic of South Ossetia, and any information or other impact on this fact from the outside is interference in the internal affairs of another state, that is condemned by international law.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of South Ossetia recommends the officials of neighboring Georgia not to be distracted vainly from their affairs and responsibilities, and to accept political realities and along with South Ossetia consider delimitation issues in the interests of both peoples.
