The South Ossetian side in the framework of the IPRM called unacceptable and offensive the provocative actions of the Georgian side at the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia, said Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement Khokh Gagloyty after a meeting of participants in the mechanisms to prevent and respond to incidents (IPRM), held in the village of Ergneti.
According to him, today's meeting was initiated by the South Ossetian side in connection with the provocations taken place last ten days at the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia.
"During the meeting we once again reminded all the participants of the conscious firing of the border markers, - said Gagloyty. - We said that this course resulted in the unacceptable and offensive provocations that took place the last ten days. In the case of recurrence of such acts on the adjacent territory, will be followed an appropriate response. "
According to Gagloyty, at the suggestion of representatives of the international organizations, the participants of the meeting expressed their readiness to work for maintaining peace in the region.
"Some interest was aroused by the statement of one of the representatives of international organizations, who said that the population of the area adjacent to South Ossetia had expressed dissatisfaction with the actions with participation of the civil and political sector of Georgia.
