On the South Ossetian-Georgian border near the village of Ergneti was held a regular meeting in the format of Mechanisms on prevention and reaction to incidents (MPRI). According to the press service of the Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement, on the pre-set agenda, 11 issues were supposed to be discussed, mainly related to the situation in the area of the South Ossetian-Georgian border.
It was also discussed the issue related to the death of the Georgian citizen Archil Tatunashvili, that had occurred on the territory of South Ossetia. Not satisfied with the intelligible information provided by the representatives of South Ossetia at the meeting, the Georgian delegation decided to suspend the meeting."
It has been specified by the press service that in connection with this fact other issues on the agenda were not discussed.
