The authorities of South Ossetia are ready to hold an intergovernmental commission on the implementation of the Investment Program for socio- economic development of the Republic. This was announced by the President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov during a meeting with the Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office for Socio- Economic Cooperation with the CIS states, South Ossetia and Abkhazia Denis Travin.
"Preparation of those issues that we bring to the inter-governmental commission is almost completed - they are ready, no less important, of course, is the Investment Program, which we are planning for 2019-2022, we have a lot of work," Anatoly Bibilov said.
Travin, in turn, has noted that there are changes for the better in the Republic.
"We have come very close to holding an intergovernmental commission, and we have accumulated issues related to the socio- economic development of the Investment Program," he said, noting that the issue of improving the well-being of Russian citizens living in South Ossetia remains open.
Earlier it was reported that 9.1 billion rubles were allocated from the Russian budget for the implementation of the investment program in 2015-2017. The Republic expects another 4.5 billion rubles under the Investment Program for 2018-2019.
