According to the press service of the government, it includes representatives of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the North Caucasus, the ministries of economic development and other interested departments of the South Ossetian and Russian parties – in all, 19 people.
At present, the regulations on the working group and the composition of its members have been worked out, the terms of reference have been defined. The tasks of the working group are to create a system of priorities and incentives for the realization of mutual investments, coordinate actions and combine efforts to eliminate the existing barriers in this area, information exchange between the parties, analysis of the implementation of the Russian investment projects in the Republic and others.
A number of concrete proposals on the development of the investment potential of the Republic of South Ossetia will be prepared for the next meeting of the IGC.
The Russian part of the working group is chaired by Igor Koshin, Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for North Caucasus Affairs, and Deputy Chairman of the Government - Economic Development Minister Gennady Bekoev - for the South Ossetian part.
