Eight defenders of the Fatherland in South Ossetia did not live till the 11th anniversary of the August war

There are 197 people in the Support Fund for the Wounded Disabled during the Hostilities in South Ossetia from 1992 to 2008, eight guys did not live up to the eleventh anniversary of the August war, the head of the Fund Madina Plieva said at a briefing in the State Committee for Information and Press.

“And many are alive thanks to the prompt and professional help of our doctors, who today help the disabled guys,” Plieva says with tears in her eyes.

In addition, they collaborate with the specialized organizations of Abkhazia, Donetsk, Russia, etc. representatives of which take part in government events in South Ossetia. She also said that the defenders of the DPR would take part in the events of September 20.

“We have been working closely with relatives, whose children gave their lives for the independence of South Ossetia. They come every year to take part in mourning events on August 7-8, and we are constantly with them. For us, they are our siblings, and we must remember their feat,” said the head of the Fund.

As for cooperation with the Abkhazian organization, Plieva says that we have a similar fate, we were fighting against the same enemy and the cooperation is close.
