41 violators in a month: KGB of South Ossetia told about the situation on the state border

The State Security Committee of South Ossetia on Monday reported on 41 violators of the state border of the Republic in a month.

"In March 2020, 41 violators of established legal regimes were detained at various sections of the state border of South Ossetia (38 in February), of which 5 were violators of the state border regime and 36 were violators of the border regime," the KGB notes.

The Border Service of the State Security Committee of the Republic on each fact of violation of legal regimes conducted proceedings.

“As a result of procedural activities, administrative measures were applied to violators of the existing administrative and legal regimes at the state border with explanatory work. As a result, 27 people were fined, two were expelled from South Ossetia without penalties under article 14 of the Law on the State Border of South Ossetia ", 12 - warned. For fines paid by violators, the state received cash in the amount of 42,500 rubles," the statement said.

Due to the increasing facts of uncontrolled cattle grazing near the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia, which entail a violation of the state border regime and the border zone of South Ossetia, the KGB Border Guard Service warns of administrative responsibility in the form of a fine for the commission of these offenses.

The KGB Border Guard Service recalls the need to obtain permits for economic, fishing and other activities in the border zone (arable works, hunting, etc.), as well as compliance with the Border Regime Rules by everyone in the border zone on the territory of South Ossetia.
