According to the latest data the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, as of Wednesday morning, there are 1689 registered and confirmed cases of COVID-19 infection in South Ossetia.
As reported to IA "RES "by Deputy Head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Anna Gagloeva, five more new cases of COVID-19 have been detected.
"During the day, 80 studies were carried out, five tests showed a positive result. In total, 35 people were removed from the medical register (547 recovered over the entire period), 1142 people remain under medical supervision," Gagloeva said.
For the entire time of the pandemic, 10369 studies were carried out in the PCR laboratory of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee.
Due to the threat of the spread of coronavirus in South Ossetia, mass events are prohibited, residents of the Republic were obliged to wear masks and observe social distance.
