In South Ossetia over the past day, 132 people have been tested, 20 tests showed a positive result, the head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, Marina Kochieva , told IA "Res" on Thursday.
"The number of cases in the Republic has grown to 2,672. 943 people remain under the supervision of doctors in hospitals and outpatients."
During the pandemic, 14709 studies were carried out in the PCR laboratory of South Ossetian Consumer Rights Protection.
The chief sanitary doctor has once again stressed that it is important not to relax, so as not to face serious consequences again, "especially for mass events, it is very important to observe the mask regime, social distance in public places, this should have been worked out among citizens in a year."
"Unfortunately, we also see the irresponsibility of individuals who violate these rules," Kochieva said.
According to her, the employees of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, these days are conducting "anti-covid" raids in organizations, public places and shopping facilities, and are strengthening control over the observance of sanitary measures.
