The Embassy of South Ossetia presented the works by the Ossetian artists in the Tretyakov Gallery

The Embassy of South Ossetia in Russia, at the invitation of the Russian Foreign Ministry, took part in the opening ceremony of the exhibition in the Tretyakov Gallery, the press service of the diplomatic agency reports.

The exhibition "Colors of the World", which brought together creative works of representatives of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Moscow, showcased the works of the employee of the Embassy of South Ossetia Grigory Pliev and Honored Artist of the Republic of South Ossetia Vladimir Gobozov.

The exhibition presents more than 100 works by representatives of the diplomatic corps from Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America, said special representative of President of the Russian Federation for the Middle East and African countries, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Mikhail Bogdanov.

"Each work is a reflection of cultural identity, personal view and spiritual wealth. Without exaggeration, their beauty, sincerity and depth are admirable," he said during the opening ceremony.

Bogdanov has noted that the diplomats' works of art once again prove that "a talented person is talented in everything."

The event was attended by the leadership of the Russian Foreign Ministry, the Russian Government, the Russian Ministry of Culture, heads and representatives of the diplomatic corps.

This year, by decision of the Russian Ministry of Culture, the project was included in the program of the international festival "Intermuseum".

The presented exhibition will be available to the general public from May 21 to 24, 2025
