The delegation of South Ossetia, headed by Speaker of the Parliament Alan Tadtaev, arrived on an official visit to the Syrian Arab Republic, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic reports.
The South Ossetian delegation arrived in Damascus as international observers for the presidential elections to be held on May 26.
The delegation has included the head of the Presidential Executive Office Igor Kozaev, Deputy Chairman of the Parliament Vladimir Kelekhsayev, Adviser to the President Uruzmag Dzhagaev, the Head of Protocol of the Presidential Executive Office Tamerlan Kochiev and the Head of the Translation Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sergey Tadtaev.
