South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee has a sufficient number of consumables and test systems for COVID-19, the head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Marina Kochieva said at the briefing at the State Committee for Information and Press in Tskhinval.
“We have enough test systems and consumables, but taking into account the increase in the number of tests being carried out due to the increase in the incidence of coronavirus in the Republic, we intend to replenish the existing stocks,” Kochieva said.
She has noted that the department is being supplied with test systems by Rospotrebnadzor free of charge.
“Last year we faced a shortage of consumables, as there was a shortage of them in Russia itself. Therefore, based on our experience, we intend to replenish the existing stocks in order to avoid problems in the future. In two days, we will turn to the government to allocate additional funds for these purposes," Marina Kochieva stressed.
The head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee has clarified that the current supply of consumables and test systems is enough for several months.
