The issue of mutual recognition with Russia of certificates of vaccination against coronavirus issued to residents of South Ossetia will be resolved in the near future, relevant appeals have been sent to the Russian government, the Health Minister of the Republic Soslan Naniev said at the briefing in Tskhinval.
"Ministry of Health has adopted the following form of certificates - format (A6) in two languages (Russian and Ossetian) with a seal and all the necessary data. We have written a letter to the Russian Federation with a proposal for mutual recognition of certificates. The certificates will be issued to Russian citizens vaccinated on the territory of South Ossetia and the citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia. They will have the same legal force and will be recognized on the territory of the Russian Federation, "the Minister specified.
According to him, for those citizens who have Russian citizenship and permanently reside in the republic, there is a possibility of centralized submission of data on vaccination in the Russian Federation, so that they receive a QR code and their data are uploaded to a single portal of State Services in their personal accounts.
It should be noted that since May of this year, free vaccination of the population has been taking place in the Republic, more than 700 people injected the first component of the vaccine, the second component was injected by more than 300 people.
