President of the Republic of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov, Governor of the Samara Region Dmitry Azarov, Acting Head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Sergey Menyailo, Deputy Head of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation Magomedsalam Magomedov visited the households of different nationalities: Volga Germans, Jews, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Armenians, Azerbaijanis, Uzbeks and others.
According to the presidential press service, representatives of the peoples spoke about their traditions, culture, the structure of the national home, and offered refreshments.
The participants of the event also visited the Ossetian courtyard. In addition to the excursion conducted by representatives of the diaspora, Anatoly Bibilov spoke about the importance of the chain above the hearth and other items in a traditional Ossetian house. He presented the Ossetian courtyard with a national stringed musical instrument.
The President noted the great importance of this complex in strengthening relations between the peoples of the Samara region.
The event continued with a festive concert, which was attended by creative teams of the region, groups of national dances.
The State Song and Dance Group "Simd" was the guest of honor of the event.
