In South Ossetia, an increase in the incidence of a new coronavirus infection has been observed since the beginning of September, said Marina Kochieva, head of the South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee

“We have analyzed the period from September 1 to September 22, and we have already noticed an increase in the number of detected cases. We do not have explosive growth; this is already good. The main thing is that there is a free bed fund in our "red zone", and it is - 42%. The prevalence rate is one of the indicators of the epidemiological process - since the opening of schools, it is more than one. This suggests that the situation has worsened a little,” Kochieva said in an interview with the “Res” news agency.

The chief sanitary doctor has stressed that the coverage of testing in the Republic is at a high level.
