Georgia can only be stopped from a possible resumption of aggression by international binding documents on the non-use of force against South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

“As long as Georgia is under the wing of NATO, trying to enter the orbit of countries unfriendly to Russia, the threat to South Ossetia remains, and it also remains for Russia, with which we are in the same political space. We have a single security circuit with it, and any threat to our Republic is a threat to the friendly country, and vice versa," he noted.

The President has reminded that Ossetians are threatened by Georgia since the 1920s.
