The celebration of the 13th anniversary of the deployment of the 4th Guards Vapnyar-Berlin Red Banner Orders of Suvorov and Kutuzov military base in South Ossetia was held in Tskhinval. The acting commander of the fourth military base of the Guards Colonel Rajab Aliyev addressed the servicemen.
“Comrade officers, ensigns, soldiers. Based on the agreement on friendship and cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia signed on February 1, 2009, the 693rd motorized rifle regiment was transformed into the 4th Guards Military base with a permanent deployment point in Tskhinval and Dzau.
On this festive day, the command of the military unit is wishing good health to you and your loved ones, family well-being, success, achievement of new heights in combat training and always remain a guarantor of peace and tranquility on the territory of South Ossetia,” Aliyev said.
He also conveyed congratulations to the servicemen from the commander of the 4th military base of the Guard, Colonel Roman Vyazovsky.
For the exemplary performance of their official duties, for conscientious military service, several servicemen were awarded medals. Also, in honor of the anniversary, thanks were announced to the personnel of the military base.
After the solemn part, the event continued with the performance of the military orchestra, as well as the performance of demonstration numbers of the personnel of the reconnaissance battalion.
The celebration ended with a solemn march of military personnel.
Also, the guests of the event were shown the social and living conditions in the barrack fund and the living conditions of the families of military personnel in the military camp.
