In Tskhinval, a meeting was held between President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov and the Chairman of the of People's Council Committee of the Lugansk People's Republic Denis Kolesnikov.
Denis Kolesnikov has greeted Anatoly Bibilov on behalf of the President and the people of the LPR.
“It is a great honor for me to be here today. For us, you are a brotherly people. You are the first to come to our aid in 2014, the first to recognize us. A low bow to the parents of those guys who were the first to come to our aid and laid down their heads. We always remember this. I would like to thank you, Anatoly Ilyich, for your responsibility, for the work that you continue for the benefit of the Republic of South Ossetia. Know that we are always with you - both in difficult times and in happy ones. We are always happy to help. I'm sure there is only a bright future ahead. We will definitely achieve the tasks that we have set by joint efforts,” Kolesnikov said.
Anatoly Bibilov thanked and noted that he appreciates the attention and support from the LPR.
“We highly appreciate the attention that both the leadership of the LPR and you personally, as our great friend, are giving. We highly appreciate the good ties that we have with the LPR parliament. Today we will have an important event held by the United Ossetia party - the signing of the agreement with the United Russia party, this is an important political step for the interaction of our political parties and political systems," the President said.
Anatoly Bibilov noted that the experience that has been accumulated both in relations between legislative bodies and in inter-party relations, relations between public organizations will be developing, warmer relations will be established between the peoples of the republics.
Kolesnikov, for his part, noted that after the congress he would meet with the parliamentarians of South Ossetia to discuss pressing issues and the work plan for 2022.
