The new integration association will include the ombudsmen of the DPR and LPR, Abkhazia and South Ossetia
Tatyana Moskalkova, Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, considers it necessary to prepare and adopt the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Convention on Human Rights, and in the future to create a supranational court on these issues.
"I consider it necessary to prepare and adopt the SCO Convention on Human Rights with the prospect of creating a supranational judicial body that will promote human rights and freedoms in the member states of this integration community," she said at a meeting of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs on Monday.
According to the Ombudsman's telegram channel, Moskalkova informed the deputies about the work on the creation of a new integration association that will include the ombudsmen of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, Abkhazia and South Ossetia. "Despite the fact that we are practically blocked in the field of international cooperation, it is necessary to preserve any platform for dialogue in order to convey the truth to the world community," Moskalkova stressed, quoted by the telegram channel.
