Rosmolodezh signed a Memorandums of understanding with South Ossetia on youth exchange programs and strengthening the work in the field of youth policy, as well as with the youth departments of the LPR, DPR and Abkhazia.
"Memorandums of understanding between the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh) and the republics of South Ossetia, Abkhazia, the Donetsk and the Lugansk People's Republics were signed at the Eurasia Global International Youth Forum," the statement of Rosmolodezh reads.
It is specified that this will strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of youth policy, as well as lead to the improvement of international cooperation between the state bodies for youth affairs and youth organizations.
"The memorandums will give impetus to the creation of exchange programs for youth, strengthening cooperation in terms of the exchange of information and best practices in the field of youth policy. The documents also provide support for youth institutions and organizations, and their involvement in the implementation of joint projects at the international level," the press service of the Committee said.
For the South Ossetian part the memorandum was signed by Sergey Zasseev, Chairman of the Committee on Youth Politics and Sports, and for the party of the Federal Agency, Andrey Platonov, Deputy Head of Rosmolodezh.
The Committee has noted that for 7 years, representatives of the youth of South Ossetia have the opportunity to participate in various international forums and seminars thanks to the well-established interaction between Rosmolodezh and the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports.
“We are bound by warm, friendly relations and fruitful cooperation. I express my gratitude for the opportunities provided to our youth, for their attention and understanding,” said Valentina Gatikoeva, Deputy Chairman of the Committee.
The Eurasia Global Forum is held in Orenburg since 2016. The project appeared at the initiative of the government of the Orenburg region, supported by President of Russia. "Eurasia Global" is included in the line of forums of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs - it is part of the Rosmolodezh platform.
