The Embassy of South Ossetia and the Library of Foreign Literature signed a Cooperation Agreement

The signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Library of Foreign Literature took place in Moscow.

According to the press service of the Embassy, ​​the signing ceremony took place in the reading room of the Center for Rare Books and Collections "Gutenberg Universe".

The Cooperation Agreement implies the creation of conditions for the implementation of cultural, and educational programs and projects between the Embassy and the Library.

“The step we are taking today is a very good, prompt and active start of our cooperation. There are many prospects. But the main thing is that we have a desire to make the life of our peoples brighter. We will use all our potential to reveal the splendor of South Ossetia in our Library,” said the Director General of the Library, Pavel Kuzmin.

During the meeting, the Embassy of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Library of Foreign Literature identified key areas for joint activities: publishing and translation activities, cultural and educational programs, promotion of Ossetian literature. Pavel Kuzmin noted that the culture of South Ossetia would be fully represented within the walls of the "Inostranka".

“We are honored to be in this legendary building. We hope that our acquaintance will develop into a great and strong friendship. Our today's meeting is a positive impetus for something big and beautiful,” said Ambassador of the Republic of South Ossetia Znaur Gassiev.

During the meeting, the Ambassador, on behalf of the President of the Republic Alan Gagloev, thanked the leadership and staff of the Library for Foreign Literature for providing a platform for joint projects. He also expressed hope for further fruitful cooperation. After the signing of the Agreement, the delegation of the Embassy got acquainted with the space of the Center for Rare Books and Collections "Gutenberg Universe".
