Employees of the Defense Ministry of South Ossetia are recommended to cross the border with the South Ossetian passport
The Defense Ministry of South Ossetia recommends that servicemen and civilian personnel of the department cross the state border of the Republic with the Russian Federation using the passport of a citizen of the Republic of South Ossetia, the press service of the defense department reports.
"By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated September 21, 2022 No. 647, partial mobilization has been announced in the Russian Federation.
As is known, the majority of citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia are also citizens of the Russian Federation. Thus, persons registered on the territory of the Russian Federation call-up are subject to conscription for military service on partial mobilization, they are handed call-up papers.
The Defense Ministry of the Republic of South Ossetia recommends that military personnel and civilian personnel of the department cross the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia with the Russian Federation using a passport of a citizen of the Republic of South Ossetia, including having a serviceman's identity card, a military ID card and a certificate from the place of work," the Ministry said in the statement.
The Defense Ministry has added that at the same time, the national army of South Ossetia is carrying out the planned activities to maintain the combat and mobilization readiness of the Armed Forces.
