The Constitution of the Russian Federation has become a reliable basis for strengthening the unity of the state and served as the foundation for the revival of the country. This is stated in the congratulation of President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev to the Russian leader in connection with the celebration of the Constitution Day of the Russian Federation.
The head of state has stressed that in the current difficult geopolitical conditions, steadfast adherence to the principles and norms of the Constitution determines consistent actions aimed at protecting national interests, the lives and dignity of compatriots, strengthening sovereignty, the progressive development of Russia, upholding historical truth and loyalty to civilized values.
“The patriotic upsurge, the rallying of citizens for the sake of the Fatherland is a clear evidence of the nationwide support for the course of the country being implemented under your leadership and a worthy response to the unfriendly actions taken against Russia,” the congratulatory address says.
Gagloev wished Putin good health and continued success in all aspirations for the good of the country, and all the inhabitants of the Russian Federation - good, well-being and prosperity.
The Constitution is the highest normative legal act of the Russian Federation, adopted by popular vote on December 12, 1993, entered into force on December 25, 1993.
