Moscow is hosting a meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Socio-Economic Cooperation of the Republic of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation

A meeting was held in Moscow in the "narrow" composition of the participants of the Russian-South Ossetian Intergovernmental Commission (IGC), at the moment a meeting is being held in an expanded format.

The delegation from South Ossetia at the XXI meeting of the IGC on socio-economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia is headed by President of the Republic Alan Gagloev.

The South Ossetian delegation has also included Prime Minister Konstantin Dzhussoev, Ambassador of South Ossetia to Russia Znaur Gassiev, First Deputy Prime Minister Alan Dzhioev, Head of the Presidential Executive Office Alan Dzhioev, Minister of Economic Development Dzambolat Tadtaev, Minister of Justice Oleg Gagloev, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Public Utilities Edward Dzagoev.

The Russian party is led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak.

The IGC meeting will discuss the implementation of the State Program for the Socio-Economic Development of South Ossetia for 2022-2025, issues of Russian financial assistance for 2023 for socio-economic development of the Republic, the implementation of the Investment Program and other issues.
