Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev sent a note of condolences to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants of the Syrian Arab Republic Faisal al-Mikdad in connection with the tragic consequences of missile strikes on the Syrian territory. This was reported by the press service of the South Ossetian Foreign Ministry.
“I ask you to accept the words of sympathy in connection with the tragic consequences of missile strikes on the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, which resulted in the death of people. We are expressing our sincere condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” the note reads.
It should be reminded that on the night of February 19, Israel launched rocket attacks on the center of the capital of Syria - Damascus. One of the rockets hit a residential building, there are perished and wounded.
