The delegation of South Ossetia headed by President Alan Gagloev visited the museum of Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov in Chechnya, the press service of the head of the South Ossetian state reports.
“The guests were given a tour of the museum, told about the expositions, about the life and work of the first president of Chechnya, and also showed the recreated office of the former head: household items and photographs that reconstruct the life periods of the great Chechen statesman, political and religious figure,” the statement of the press service reads.
The guide has noted that the people highly honor the memory of the first president, and the museum allows preserving the historical memory of the outstanding personality who played a big role not only in the fate of the Chechen people, but of all of Russia.
On Monday Alan Gagloev got acquainted with the sights of Grozny. The representative of the Ministry of Tourism spoke in detail about the significance of the facilities and their history.
The President also laid flowers at the memorial of the first President of the Chechen Republic, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov in Grozny.
It should be noted that the head of the South Ossetian state is on a working visit to the Chechen Republic, where the Days of Culture of South Ossetia are being held these days.
