President of South Ossetia has expressed his gratitude to the deputies of the Parliament who worked as part of the Commission on Demarcation and Delimitation of the Border.
"You have done a lot of painstaking work and prepared a final report, which concerns not only the passage of the state border near the village of Uista (Tsnelis), but also along the entire perimeter of the border of the Republic of South Ossetia.
Now the legal side of the report is being studied by the Ministry of Justice, after which we will need to jointly plan and implement measures to implement the conclusions of the report. We need to carry out this work in strict accordance with international legal norms and in cooperation with the Russian party, which ensures the protection of the state borders of the Republic," the head of state said, addressing the people and the Parliament.
