In Tskhinval has started the ceremony of announcing the address to the people and the Parliament by President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev .
The event is taking place on Monday, the Day of the adoption of the Act of State Independence.
The solemn meeting in the Parliament hall is attended by members of the government and Parliament, ex-President of the Republic Leonid Tibilov, the delegation of North Ossetia, the Russian Ambassador to the RSO Marat Kulakhmetov, representatives of ministries and departments, the public.
The President's address with a message on the main directions of foreign and domestic policy of the state is provided for by the 50th article of the Basic Law of the Republic.
