A meeting of Ministers of Culture of South Ossetia and Abkhazia Rada Dzagoeva and Daur Kove took place in Sukhum, the press service of Ministry of Culture of the Republic of South Ossetia reports.
“Today we are happy to open the Days of Culture of South Ossetia in Abkhazia. I am glad to welcome you. Welcome!” Minister of Culture of Abkhazia.
Rada Dzagoeva stressed that the delegation was very pleased to be in the hospitable land of Abkhazia and expressed confidence that the mutual Days of Culture of the two countries would not be a one-time event.
“Cooperation between South Ossetia and Abkhazia did not start today; our peoples are united not only by a similar fate in a certain period of their history, but also by the path traveled in different areas of our activity. Together we will continue to implement many interesting projects. Moreover, we have a common holiday ahead - the Day of Recognition of the Independence of our republics by the Russian Federation," Dzagoeva said.
