President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev met with Acting Governor of the Omsk Region Vitaly Khotsenko.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the SPIEF in St. Petersburg. This was announced by the press Secretary of the President Natalya Bosikova.
Alan Gagloev thanked Vitaly Khotsenko for the support that the Omsk region had provided to South Ossetia in 2008.
The parties discussed the further development of relations, after which they signed an agreement on trade, scientific and technical cooperation.
“The Omsk region supplies South Ossetia with mechanical engineering products, plastic products, as well as rubber and furniture. Now we will also send grain crops to the Republic. I instructed the regional Ministry of Agriculture to work out this issue,” said Vitaliy Khotsenko.
Then the meeting was held without media representatives.
