The delegations from the Russian Federation and Abkhazia arrived in South Ossetia on a two-day working visit.
The Russian delegation has included representatives of the Presidential Executive Office for Interregional and Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, headed by Igor Maslov representatives of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development headed by Deputy Minister Dmitry Volvach, as well as the employees of the Russian Ministry of Energy.
The Abkhazian delegation is headed by Timur Agrba, head of the capital construction department of the Republic of Abkhazia.
The guests are accompanied by Prime Minister of South Ossetia Konstantin Dzhussoev, Russian Ambassador to South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, head of the Ministry of Construction Konstantin Eldzarov, representatives of the capital construction department and other officials.
Upon arrival in the Republic, the Russian and Abkhazian delegation got acquainted with the construction of a children's camp in the village of Mziugom, Dzau district. The work on the site began in June 2021. The commissioning of the camp is scheduled for 2024.
Further, officials will visit multi-storey buildings under construction on the site of a former textile factory in Tskhinval and a bridge over the Liakhva River.
They will also inspect the site for implementation of the investment project, claiming to be provided by the state support in 2023 to "Ir Basalt LLC".
In addition, members of the delegation are planning to visit Znaur and Leningor districts of the Republic.
