At the Lower Zaramag checkpoint on Friday, October 6, there will be a meeting between President of the Republic of South Ossetia, Alan Gagloev, and representatives of the responsible departments of the Russian Federation on the issues of crossing the Russian-South Ossetian border by citizens of the Republic, Deputy Head of the Presidential Wxecutive Office Alan Tibilov told reporters.
It should be reminded that earlier, during Alan Gagloev’s working visits to Moscow and his meetings with Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev and First Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Rashid Nurgaliev, it was discussed the issue of developing a road map to reduce the time when crossing the border by citizens of the Republic .
For the Russian part the working meeting will be attended by representatives of Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Border Directorate of the FSB of the Russian Federation for North Ossetia-Alania, the management staff of the North Ossetian Customs and employees of the ROSTRANSSTROY Company. In addition to the head of state, the South Ossetian part will be represented by Secretary of Security Council of the Republic of South Ossetia, Anatoly Pliev,” Tibilov has clarified.
This current meeting is a continuation of the meeting of the interdepartmental commission, which took place in the office of the Security Council of the Russian Federation on September 26.
