The head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in South Ossetia, Sergei Komissarov, has met with the Chairman of the Rossy society, Svetlana Kotaeva, who took part in the X regional conference of Russian compatriots from near abroad countries in Bishkek, the Russian House in Tskhinval reports.
“Russian compatriots of the near abroad - a community of a common destiny” - this topic was the leitmotif through the speeches of the speakers, among whom was a public figure from South Ossetia
“At the meeting with Sergei Komissarov, Kotaeva in her speech focused on the obvious fact - there were no obstacles to promotion of the Russian language in the Republic she represented.
“The legacy of previous generations has not been forgotten,” she began with this assurance at the representative forum to show a presentation with a story about the events prepared with the support of the Russian House in Tskhinval,” the statement of the press service reads.
The participants welcomed Kotaeva’s initiatives related to strengthening the ties between “fathers and children” through the promotion of language values.
