The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia, Ibragim Gasseev, sent a telegram of condolences to his Russian colleague Alexander Kurenkov in connection with the death of the head of the main directorate of the Russian emergency department for the LPR, Alexey Poleschenko, the press service of the Ministry reports.
Gasseev also sent a telegram to the personnel of the main directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Luhansk People's Republic.
“The personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of South Ossetia received the news of the death of Alexey Alexandrovich Poteleschenko with deep pain and empathy. We express our sincere condolences and support to the family and friends of the deceased,” the telegram of condolences says.
The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the LPR died on February 3 as a result of the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on Lisichansk.
