In Tskhinval, a solemn laying of wreaths and flowers took place at the Memorial Complex to the Fallen Defenders of the Fatherland.
The laying ceremony was attended by leadership of the Republic led by President Alan Gagloev, as well as the Chairman of Parliament Alan Alborov, Russian Ambassador to the Republic of South Ossetia Marat Kulakhmetov, deputies, heads of the ministries and departments, as well as the public.
The laying of wreaths and flowers has also taken place at the chapel at the Memorial Cemetery in the courtyard of the Tskhinval Secondary School No. 5.
Commemorative events were dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day.
