The delegation of the Central Election Commission of South Ossetia is taking part in the Russian presidential elections as observers.
“Today in Russia voting has started for the presidential elections of the Russian Federation, which will take place for 3 days - from March 15 to 17. The Information Center is operating in the CEC of Russia during all election days," Emilia Gagieva, head of the Central Election Commission of South Ossetia, told IA “Res”.
According to her, one of the most important events is the two-day International Conference “Electoral Sovereignty and International Standards”.
“Representatives of election authorities and international organizations from around the world, experts in the field of the electoral process will speak at its site. In total, there will be more than 200 participants,” she said.
More than seven hundred observers (706) from 106 countries have been accredited for the presidential elections of the Russian Federation.
