Representatives of South Ossetia spoke about their participation in the III Eurasian meeting of Russian compatriots in New Delhi, India.
According to the press service of the Russian House in Tskhinval, the Chairman of the coordination council of Russian compatriots in the Republic of South Ossetia, Natalya Zhuikova, and her Deputy, Svetlana Kotaeva, shared their impressions with the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the Republic, Sergei Komisarov.
“During the discussion of working issues, it was noted the possibility to implement a number of projects discussed at the forum,” the statement of the press service reads.
At the meeting in New Delhi, India, they discussed the popularization of traditional family values.
“The role of compatriots in preserving, strengthening and instilling traditional family values in future generations cannot be overestimated. First of all, they are responsible for popularizing these values in diasporas and countries of residence,” the Russian House has noted.
